The Needwonnee Walk is a unique living, changing interpretive experience created at Melaleuca in remote South West Tasmania - the former homelands of the Needwonnee Aboriginal people.
The beautifully designed booklet and DVD tell the remarkable story of the creation of The Needwonnee Walk - a story about a group of today's Tasmanian Aborigines who journeyed into the Needwonnee's former homelands to connect with their long-gone Old People, tell some of their story, and practise their precious traditions.
The DVD contains spectacular vision and powerful interviews capturing the great significance of this remarkable project - a collaboration between Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service and the Tasmanian Aboriginal Land and Sea Council.
